Purpose:
This Fall class is part of the ongoing training for GHCC Small Group Leaders, equipping them in the areas of biblical interpretation, theology, leadership, and shepherding. These classes are specifically focused and aimed to Small Group Leaders, as we teach all topics in the context of group leadership.
Topic:
The Parable of the "Prodigal Son." The study take learned tools of biblical interpretation and apply them to Luke 15 (the parable of the "Prodigal Son"). The class will use Timothy Keller's "The Prodigal God" as a commentary for the study - Keller also offers this material in the form of a small group study, so this is an opportunity for the leaders to explore and survey new small group curriculum.
